how to change change the main page? what file?

I am trying to see if i can eliminate the "New products" section on the main page. Can someone tell me what file I need to modify?

 

Also, anyone knows how I can go about inserting a picture on the front page?

To insert pictures into your home page edit XXXX in the define('TEXT_MAIN', 'XXXX'); of the includes/languages/english/index.php file with your html.

 

This html can contain codes for texts, images, flash etc. as usual.

Ray is correct - the same applies for all files in the includes/languages/english/ dir.

That is awesome, works perfectly. I added Flash and all kinds of stuff for a test.

 

I am compiling all kinds of these little tips that i am learning and I am going to post a "for newbies" list of all this stuff.

 

I have just been working on this for 2 days and i have piled a lot of needed info, so I hope I can pass it on.
