Site Redirect By domain

Hi everyone, i've been using osc for some time now (and setting up some stores from scratch), now my question is:

is it possible to have one domain as :

www.storeexample.biz

being redirected to

www.mycompanywebsite.com/catalog

i've tried this one time, but when the user clicks refresh on the browser, it gets redirected to the index page no matter where it was before (i presume it's cause the domain redirect).

I've set up force cookie use and check ip adress in Admin, but with no results, any advice ?

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

All you have to do to redirect someone coming to one domain onto another domain is to place a .htaccess redirect in the root folder of the first domain.

Alternatively, if you have a control panel with the company you registered the first domain to then you may be able to use that to mask a redirect to the second domain. This will get punished by search engines though.

If the two domains are on the same server, just set the first domain up as an alias of the second domain.

Thanks Vger, for the quick response, i do have the control panel, it's at godaddy.com, (any ideas? :)), as for the first suggestion, i didn't even set up the first domain (.biz) to any hosting account as i only want it to "mask" my catalog or store links, gonna explore my host account options now and get back on this on a little while.

Thanks in advance for any advice :).

BTW: Happy New Year everyone
