PartyMania Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Yes it is. There is a WYSWYG contrib available I believe. For a blank line type: <br>
Hugo RSF Posted December 31, 2004 Author Posted December 31, 2004 Thanks a lot guys :) And use a column description? It is possible? For instance, a header (1 column) ant then a 2 column text? Thanks again for your quick help :)
ozcsys Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 You really should be able to use any html tags you want in your product descriptions, the only thing is you will need to be careful using any tables as I have seen them break the site and get everything looking all crazy. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
Susan Moore Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 You really should be able to use any html tags you want in your product descriptions, the only thing is you will need to be careful using any tables as I have seen them break the site and get everything looking all crazy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which is exactly what I have seem to have done. I created an HTML page, composed of three tables, that makes a form for my customers to use. Because I produce their products on-demand, that seemed like a good way to retrieve the information. However, upon visiting some other OSCommerce site, I found one that sells shoes. It had the customer e-mail the needed size. In other words, is there a way for me to add an HTML (or PHP) file to my Product Description section that will let the customer provide me with needed text? I will also want the customer to upload images. That's my next hurdle -- but any advance info would be appreciated!! Thanks, Susan (a newbie)
