Guest Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 who are you going to pay the us taxes to? if i were shopping your site and you are shipping to me yet charging taxes and you are not in my locale, then i would question the taxes, leave the site and also make a note to send to as many people as i know that you are charging taxes even though you are not local? same with any other country. i dont knwo of any country where you charge taxes outside of your area. are you collecting and paying those to the specific countries, pocketing the tax money or sending to the govt? a lot of taxes to keep track of for all the countries in the world.

If you sell a product to a company outside your own country than it is without tax. Whether the country is inside the EU or the rest of the world. If you sell a product to a private person that it is a different matter. Than you charge your local tax to those inside your own country but also to those in countries of the EU. Those outside of the EU are not charged with tax. If you are selling to a certain amount to a specific country one needs to be tax registered to that country and pay the tax on those sales to that country with the related tax percentage that is valid for that country. Kind regards Richard B)

B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thank you DenHarrow .. but also those that are not in EU must pay tax .. yet they can have it back via Global Tax Refund company .. but i'm not sure how is this with tickets .. concert tickets .. we have also recieved invoice from Austria with tax, when we were not in EU yet ... don't worry i'll clear that out
