When I install Oscommerce everything works well except when importing the default database: I receive the next message several times:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in includes/functions/database.php on line 41

And then it says database import was succesful (??)

When I reach the end of the installation process it says installation was succesful but when I press either the 'Catalog' button or the 'Administration Tool' button the next message appears:

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.0' (10049) in includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

(and the database is running and working because oscommerce was capable of importing the default database, theorically....)

I don't know how to resolve these 2 problems, can anyone help me?

Thank you very much

Is this a local install (on your own computer)?

If so, did you set up the blank database before you did the install?

Yes, I have created a blank database before installing, the problem is that it continues blank after installation :(
