itfitz Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 HI, I need some help in figuring out how to make it so the image size isnt fixed. So that it crops the pistures down instead of resizing them. I hope this makes some kind of sense. I need it to maintain the scale of the picture when it shrinks it down not just make the whole picture 100X100 which drastically changes the way some of my images look. Thanks, Shawn If it was easy, anyone could do it!
♥Vger Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 What you can do, to maintain the ratio of width to height for different sixed images, is to go to Configuration in your osCommerce Control panel, select Images, and then remove the pixel settings for height. This will keep the width of images static, while allowing the height to be calculated relative to the original image. This will stop small images from getting distorted on the web page. Vger

Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks, I just changed all three of them and things are starting to look better already with just the few images I have uploaded. I'll try it with some of the images that I havent altered to make fit the way I want them to and see what happens. Thanks again, Shawn If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm... I have an image that as saved is: 95x250 I have my admin set up like Vger suggests. (90 for width and blank for height). This makes the image still show up at 90x236. I would like to know if there is something I can do to make it show up more like: 38x100 or something along those lines, that is aspect ratio maintained? Thanks, Pete I find the fun in everything.
