"Downloadable Products Directory Does Not Exist"

I get the error "Warning Warning: The downloadable products directory does not exist: home/purefi2/public_html/download/. Downloadable products will not work until this directory is valid." I have the "download" folder as you can see at www.purefiveaudio.com/download and I tried CHMOD to 777 and 755, and 744 and nothing will make the error message to go away. <_<

post your configure.php without the database info. you can try adding a / in front of download
