khunphil Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Hi, We have a website using OSC2. When a customer creates a account, he enters email and name (NAME_A) , then on the shipping form, he enters the shipping information with different name.(NAME_B). He can even enter a third one if somebody else pay (NAME_C) Why this shipping address and name become the customer information ? If my customer log on the website under "My Account", he dows not see his name but the one of the shipping address, which is not his. He sees NAME_B instead of NAME_ or even NAME_C (the one who pays) which is more logical. if anybody has a idea, or know if this is a well-known bug. Thanks, Philippe Philippe, Chiangmai, Thailand
bglkk Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Hi Philippe: An account can have up to five address book entries--the customer can specify the "primary address", which is the default address for shipping and billing. (I believe they can also choose an address other than the primary address for shipping/billing.) So I believe this behavior is by design; not a bug. Is that what you are asking?
