can categories give total of products listed below

How can I get the total of the products listed under a category to display?

I've installed a contribution that shows me the total that is in stock but now I need it to show a total of the products for each category.

In the SQL query that's getting the product count, simply remove the part that says " where p.products_status = '1' ". This will cause the query to look up all products, not just those marked as in stock.

I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. I tried it twice and the first time got an error (saying no quantities in stock) and the second time I didn't get any errors but nothing changed. I was looking over my setup and saw that I have a category and in that category I have the products. I need the category to display the quantity of the products I have inside that category. I don't think I specified this on my previous post. My apologies for the lack of information. If you have or anyone else has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.
