edtiger Posted December 28, 2004 Share Posted December 28, 2004 I would like to add a mod to my store where shoppers can indicate that the contents of the shopping cart are being gift shipped along with a "message" area where they can send a message along with the gift. If someone could point me in the right direction, I will be happy to create this. I have looked through the forums and the contributions to see if something like this exists and couldn't find anything. Another weired thing is that order comments are actually appended to the order_status_history table in the database. i was just going to copy the comments section and add the new field but this doesn't seem to be the right spot in the database to add gift shipping information. giftmaster Posted December 28, 2004 Share Posted December 28, 2004 You can add a check box as an attribute for your custmers to select if it is a gift and load this contrubtion that will give you a text box for your clients to write a message to go on a card.
