Heres my enormous problem at:

Basically people are searching for the wrong things through search engines, suck as: camaro wheel well which is right and they put camaro wheel house and it gives them NOTHING.

How on earth can i make this less specific or anyone have a suggestion, ANY help is always appreciated!

Thank You!

There are many very useful OsC Contributions

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

And remember if you didnt back up its not a big deal, You

just have to do everything all over again.

Well, firstly the link you posted above is wrong. You may want to correct that.

The second thing is that you appear to have no meta tags for Keywords or Description in the head section of your site. You need to either install something like the Meta Tags Controller Contribution, or else go through each of your pages and insert meta tags for 'robots' 'Keywords' 'Description' and 'Author'

Don't forget that the Keywords and Description have to match with what is actually on the page. You can't just put words or phrases in the tags if they don't appear anywhere - you'll just get low rankings from the search engines.

Hope this helps - Vger

Hi,

You can't force people to use certain search strings via a search engine. :(

I tried Google on your site and there were no results at all for 'camaro wheel house', but a number of results for 'camaro wheel', so that would indicate that one search engine (Google) does not have the word/string 'camaro wheel house' indexed for your site.

As for meta tags, they used to be of good benefit in PR, but people started to abuse them by putting 'garbage' in them to force a high PR. The general consensus on meta tags is that they are of little benefit, that search engines place a much higher importance on your website 'content'.

Hi,

When you mentioned 'camaro wheel house' as a search string, I used your site to search for 'house' and found out that it should be 'camaro wheelhouse'

I then searched again on Google, your site, for 'wheelhouse', no results, then used ' wheelhouses' , and got 100 results.

If people are searching, and know a little about cars and car parts (which I don't), surely they will use 'wheelhouses' ??

It would help if you placed some sort of content on the site that has the singular phrase 'wheelhouse'.

Hi,

Just a bit more about meta tags, as the 'fog lifts' on this issue and I remember a bit more. I'd confirm what 'Vger' stated, that it does help to have them, they are not of high importance, and search engines apparently sometimes go look on Dmoz if you don't have them, but having the meta tags surely cannot do any harm at all, in short, put them there. :)
