Guest
you need to download the file to your local system, edit it there and then ftp back to your site, for the standard installation of osCommerce. dont try to edit the files live on the site, you can cause major problems. keep a backup of each and every file you are going to change, in case it gets messed up. stevel
John is correct. but it may not be obvious why. You are evidently using the File Manager in admin to edit the file. Don't do this - it corrupts files. In fact, you should remove file_manager.php from your admin folder as it is a security risk. Then follow John's advice for downloading, editing, and re-uploading the file. Eso
I'm kinda new to this, so how would I download the file?
stevel
You would use an FTP client. You should have a local copy of all your site's files. If you're using Windows, I like SmartFTP, which is free. There are others - you can even use MSIE as an FTP client. If you're using some other platform, there are FTP clients available for them.
