Microsfot Access, Flat Files - Product Upload

Ok, I *know* this has to be one of those things members hate when newbies ask, but I've searched via:

bulk upload

bulk database upload

microsoft access upload

database upload

.

.

.

...and nothing.

I have a product database with about 1500 products the db is in MS Access, but is exported to a pipe-flatfile. I can change this to whatever makes osCommerce happy, but the point is... I can't imagine I would have to enter in all 1500 items manually with osCommerce... and I'm certain that there is a way... only, quite frankly, I'm too new to know it.

Thanks (again),

Pete

I find the fun in everything.

Why did I know you were going to say that.

That's the one I'll do.

Time to read up on it now.

Thanks!

Also get the current version on the EP Assistant, it's an Access file that makes it easier to input items and make changes. Here it is.

It can also be modified for your use, in my case, I have it so when I enter the wholesale cost, it will figure my retail price based on a few variables and also create the image name based on the item number.

Hope this helps,

Bob G.
