Hi Guys,

Seasons Greetings to you all!

I hope business has been brisk for you all (I know it has for me)

The problem I have is that a customer has placed an order and paid me through worldpay, now I have received the payment confirmation from worldpay but the order is still showing in 'recover cart sales'.

How can I manually confirm this order so I receive the order process email?

Regards

This is quite common and is usually the result of someone not clicking on the Continue button on the last checkout page which is the Worldpay callback. You may want to make the refresh time on wpcallback.php shorter to minimise this in future.

The best way to manually complete the order is as follows (from memory so the details may be a bit vague...):

1) Create a master password for all accounts (see contribs for this). This will allow you to login as any user.

2) Make a copy of the COD payment module but call it something else similar to your Worldpay module. Just before you want to complete the order, make it active.

3) Copy the email address from the uncompleted order and go to login.php and login using that email address and your master password. You will see the shopping basket still there. Click on Checkout and complete the checkout, but select your renamed COD payment method. The checkout will then be completed as if the customer had done it themselves, except you won't have to fill in card details as that's already been done.

HTH!
