dumb_question Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I am totally stuck! I had been working through admin for a year to populate the catalog with products. Yesterday i decided to use easy populate. SO i downloaded the products through easy populate , then filled the products with model names and uploaded it again through EP. I saw all products in duplicate ( with and without products models). so I WENT INTO admin and deleted all the products. Uploaded through EP again. Allthe products and categories show nicely but no pictures. I also tried to restore database back up through admin ...nothing shows up. I am totally stuck. Can someone help? Appreciate it very much Quote
bobg7 Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 did you also ftp your images to the /catalog /images folder? Quote Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
dumb_question Posted December 26, 2004 Author Posted December 26, 2004 (edited) I did ftp the images folder.....nothing happened. Then I looked at the images fodler on the server side.to my surprise most of the images were absent. So uploaded images from my backup. Now, i see the product images( however, some of them show up partially). I still cant see the category and subcategory images....infact, i dont see a column for those in EP. ALso, I noticed that html shows up in the product description Thanks for your prompt response! Edited December 26, 2004 by dumb_question Quote
dumb_question Posted December 27, 2004 Author Posted December 27, 2004 I figured the picture problem out. SOme of the pictures were smaller...that was causing distortion. Quote
