DATABASE ERROR

okay, getting really frustrated!!

 

got to synertrade.8thsin.com/store1

 

see the error:

 

the problem is the user/pass in configure.php

but when I change the login/pass in the configure.php and hit save and then go back to the website to refresh, it changes it back to the old username and password

 

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

delete the configure file on your site - prior to transferring the new one up.

There are two configure.php files, catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php.

 

Also try editing locally and ftp the files to your server. Do not use the File Manager editor.

 

Don't know if this will solve it though. Can you run phpmyadmin? Then check user name, password, and database for case sensitivity.

Can you post the the two configure.php files here? (minus the username & password for security)
