nafees Posted December 29, 2004 Author Posted December 29, 2004 Haven't got any feedback. I know many of you are really good at giving feedback. I am still waiting. Please..... Nafisa
Guest Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 would probably help if we could reach your store. I get a time out error in IE and a Connection Refused error in Firefox.
RikR Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Same here. I get the home page headline for a few seconds and then an error page. I went "back" and it showed me the headline again follwed by a redirect to the catalog page. This time it worked. Why the redirect? Rik Rasmussen
RikR Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 The "click to enlarge" brings same size picture of product. Rik Rasmussen
AXM Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Yeah you have to fix the image problem and also I'd suggest that you add some padding to the infoBoxHeading on the stylesheet like maybe 2-4pts of padding all the way around. I ♥ PHP/MYSQL/CSS
eddyb Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 The footer strip needs to be changed so it goes the whole width of the page. Also when i goto a product page i am seeing a blue line above the add to cart button. Overall its nothing amazing but i think its simple and easy to navigate which is always a good thing. Also it showcases your products well. Not a bad store altogether. Even if it is a little plain :). Green Template - My little addition to the community... :)
nafees Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Hi all, Thanks for your feedback. 1. Would take care of the aesthetics suggested, might have to retake some of the pictures for enlargement cause have lost some originals in resizing. 2. About redirect: My website is hosted on shared server. The URL executes the index.html file under public_html folder. I did not change the OSC directory structure because of which i had to point the index.html from public_html folder to index.php in catalog. Don't know how to circumvent this. Any ideas???? nafees Posted January 26, 2005 Author Posted January 26, 2005 Just when i thought everything was working fine, i come across this error. Please help. Saw too many '404 not found' in my web stats, so investigated a little. Here is how it pops up. When an account holder logs off and clicks on the links the error pops up. Only links in Categories, Specials info box, Search and Whats new info box work. The rest like in footer or Good Read info box throw up this error. Why do you think this is happening. I checked my code and thought it must be the file references. But all the file references have .php as extension in them. So what is the reason the files are not being located? Please help. Nafisa
snakerboy Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 I agree with the search stuff, you should add more information about each product where they come from, who made them, history etc.
