[email protected] Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 when I try to acces http://www.aerconditionat.com.ro/ appear: FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it! I contact admin host ( www.paginaweb.ro ) and he told me that for security reason he set register_globals off for php, gave me link http://ro.php.net/manual/en/language.varia...es.superglobals and told me that I have to use predefined variables in php. Also, admin told me that in PHP 4.2.0 and later, the default value for the PHP directive register_globals is off. My site is on oscommece structure an d I don't know if oscommerce work with this settings. What can I do to make my site to work again? I can make some changes or I'll must change the host with one which allow register_globals??? Thank you for your support.
Guest Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 first, as this is your first post, you should read the forum rules, then change your forum name. using an email address or a web site is against forum rules. now for register_globals search the contribution area for register globals, there is some code changes required to solve the problem. you need to be using php 4.3.10
