Is it there a place that documents how to setup newsletters? We want to setup very elaborate newsletters that will include pictures, but we don't know where to begin. Is it there a place where we can learn to set them up?. As an alternative, we would like to attach files to a newsletter. How can we do it?

Any luck with this? I have the same question and have had it for quite a while, but haven't found any answers. I think the osCommerce newsletter is text only. Yes? No?

 

Is there any way to make the newsletter recognize HTML so we can use color and images?

 

Another question asked here that I'd like the answer to: is there a test mode? Can I test the newsletter by just sending it to myself to see what the final product will look like?

News Letters Do handle HTML code.

 

You have to Lock the newsletter before you can send it.

 

there are also preview functions to see what it will look like before you post it out

to all your customers..

 

i dont know of a way to send it to just yourself.. but you can view the preview or use the same code from the newsletter and put it in an email to yourself if you want to see how it reacts to your email client..
