carrying price and item name over to paypal

How do I carry the total price and item description over to paypal, at the moment everything processes correctly as ive installed paypal_shopping_cart_ipn version 2.9 and thats fine, but once they click confirm on my site it goes over to paypal and allows the buyer to put in their own purchase price (which cant be good) and on item description it just displays my store title. Is there any way i can clear this all up?

reading the forums it points you in the way of osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 which gives you two files

paypal_ipn.php

and a folder _MACOSX containing ._paypal_ipn.php

but doesnt tell you where to install (it says that this should sort out the total price problem but dont know whether this is correct.

 

So basically any help will do but these are two quite major problems, and are really bugging me.
