Guest Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I need to take all the options in one attribute and create a copy of it. (i.e. I have an attribute called Materials with about 100 different options. I would like to take all those options and copy them to a new attribute called Materials 2) Is this possible to do? I would really hate to have to enter them all over again, and I just know mysql should be able to do it, but I don't know how. Any help would be great! Thanks! RW

Guest Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Hey Chemo, Thanks for the reply and also for your great contribs! I don't know if that is what I want to do though, what I want is to have Materials Materials 1 Materials 2 Materials 3 Materials 4 and have all of them with the same stuff. That way when I get a product that can take more than one material I can use the others (say I have a personality pen that can use 4 different materials so I would give the pen the attributes of Materials 1-4 (each attribute has the same options)). So how can I "copy" Materials into Materials 1-4. I don't want to do it just for 1 product, but want to have it availble all the time. Is there some way to do it? as I really don't want to re-enter all the options 4 times. If I have totally missed the point please let me know.
