bglkk Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Hi: Sure, you can use tables in Products Description--what's the problem? I usually create them in Dreamweaver and copy/paste into Products Description. "Buy the ticket, take the ride..." -HST

raneman Posted December 24, 2004 Author Posted December 24, 2004 Hi: Sure, you can use tables in Products Description--what's the problem? I usually create them in Dreamweaver and copy/paste into Products Description. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The entire database that I need to use as product description, and product name, ..... is in a Ms. Word document. And I would like to transfer tables containing product descriptions for various product from this word document. Do I need to tag the entire document?
bglkk Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 If I were faced with getting table data from Word to HTML, I'd start from scratch, rebuilding the tables with a decent HTML editor. IMHO, Word-generated HTML is bloated beyond reason, and virtually impossible to edit. But that's just me. "Buy the ticket, take the ride..." -HST
Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 hi guys, on this subject - is there anyway to edit these files manually? When i use the admin panel, it always adds in \\\\ characters to my html... what's up with that? Thanks
