octeto Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I did install osCommerce 2.2ms2 (with cpanel). But I get this message: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/ejemplos/public_html//oscommerce/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I have checked the CHMOD and it is definitely 644. I even tried CHMOD 444. The error remains no matter what. Any hint? Octeto

octeto Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 The only solution was to change to PHP 3.9 (was 3.10). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem with PHP 3.10 was Zend Optimizer v2.5.5. Upgrading to Zend Optimizer v2.5.7 resolves the problem. Now is working ok with PHP version 3.10 Octeto
Sincraft Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I had a problem where I couldn't change to 444 using my ftp. My host sets this up so that you cant unless you use the admin panel (cpanel) through their file manager. Worked fine after I changed it through there. S
