nielsbox Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Yes it will. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was kind of a retorical question, wasn't it? But in what way does it affect speed? Are we talking about a 1% or 50% reduction in speed? Will this cause serious problems? It's not eBay or something. We get around 100 visitors per day. -- General, listen! Rico Pendel lives!

Guest Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 what warning messages are you talking about? if about your site and you have both ssl and non-ssl in same pages and that causes the error, then it is programming. majority of the people to not see error messages / messages unless it is programmed incorrectly.
bglkk Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 We get around 100 visitors per day. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While obviously I have no understanding of your business goals, I'd still suggest you factor future traffic increases into your decision. We're just a small-potato site ourselves, but we've still seen significant increases in site traffic (4x increase in bandwidth, 2x number of visits, 5x increase in page views...) in the 10 months since we've opened the store. Just an optimistic suggestion... B) "Buy the ticket, take the ride..." -HST
