Custom flat rate per item

Hi.

If I add a book can it have flat rate shipping for that book?

Say $2.00

 

Then add something else and make the shipping $3.00

 

Some of the program is very complicated to me.

Variable shipping etc . . .

 

All I want is to add a product and make the shipping a flat rate for each item submitted.

 

I really appreciate any assistance.
