Akira71 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Once again I have an issue and this time it is with the Apache Virtual Hosting system. As I have never gotten OS Commerce to work correctly under Windows for various reasons I went with Redhat Fedora Core 2 as my new O/S. Now the issue.. I have a web site I created locally and was able to work with my OSCommerce install just fine as http://localhost/<siteName>/Catalog and http://localhost/<siteName>/Catalog/MyAdminName Well as I was getting cocky with my new O/S I decided to setup virtual hosting in Apache and made me a new website. http://sitename.something.com/ This worked great, but now when I go to the website and hit the catalog page it loads as does the admin page. But all the links in those pages fail. They actually list my virtual site twice. What I see for each link is something like this.. http://sitename.something.com/sitename.som...com/catalog/.... As you can see the name shows twice. This is not wanted at all. I mucked with the configure.php files to try and resolve this to no avail. I am beginning to feel this might be an Apache 2 issue, but I thought I would check here for hints first. Any ideas? Thank you in advance, Akira
Guest Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 you would be better off going to apache.org and reading up on virtual hosts, as this is for support of oscommerce after you have the required items (knowledge base, apache/iis, mysql, php)
