Denis Weldon Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Hello, My name is Denis Weldon, I form a part of SwatchZone an online shop dedicated to the world of Swatch and its happening. We're using OScommerce 2.2-MS2, PHP 4.3.8, MySQL 4.0.18 I got an email from a user today claiming that he can't login on the login screen. He's using windows XP SP2 with MS explorer 6. He's sent me screen shots. It seems he's entering his user name and password but then nothing, it goes back to the same screen and he's clearly not logged in and the usual warning message about the wrong password etc is not displayed. He says he's using checkpoint VPN-1 Secure client, could this be effecting it????? Anyway I'm woundering if there is an known issue related to this or if anyone might have an idea. Thanking You Denis
♥Vger Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 It's more than likely that Windows XP Service Pack 2 has problems with this other secure client running on the same computer. There is a list on the Microsoft website of all of the programmes not compatible with SP2. Norton Anti-Virus is just one of them, but the list is a long one! Ask him also if he's using AOL as his Internet Service Provider, because AOL has the worlds worst system for caching and keeping track of sessions. Vger
