ukgoods Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I have had six customers all using different browers and ISPs phone me saying they could not remove items from their carts. I walked them through it over the phone. They would click the checkbox and then press the Update Key. The screen would refresh but the item they wanted to delete was still there. I can login with my master password and remove the item from the cart. What could be causing this? Obviously, if it happened to six people, it happened to many more who gave up and left my site. Please help!!!! Donna Gordon UKGoods.com
Guest Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I worked fine for me... I added the first product that I came across then increased the quantity to 5 through the shopping cart page. I deleted the product with no problems.
ozcsys Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I had not problems updating the cart or removing items. It did work for me in ie and firefox. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
Rob123 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 The only "problem" that I saw was that when you enter a Zero (0) in the quantity field of your shopping cart and click update, the item does not get deleted. Checking the deleted check box then clicking update works just fine for me too. Robert

Do you know of any way to make it remove the item if you only put a zero in and press the Update button? I changed the "out of stock" message to tell my customers to click the update button. However, since none of my customers seem to read, I am a bit dubious about this solving my issue. Thanks, Donna Gordon UKGoods
