Hello, I am new to oscommerce, but am aware of its features and potential. I am based in India and indulge in tea business. I have created a website and now want a shopping cart to be included. There is no problem installing the script as it is done automatically by Fantastico - great tool!

The problem is configuring the script according to my needs. Can anyone advise me regarding this?

My requirements and don't know how to configure any of these.:

I want to sell teas in 100gram, 250gram, 500gram and 1000gram packs. I have a tie up with DHL and they have given me rates according to zones. Each zone has a specific number of countries. I am not concerned about the smaller states or counties which a country has. It should be according to individual countries and weight of the parcel. There are about 5 zones comprising of different countries. I want to configure shipping cost according to the above rules. A 8% flat rate on all the zones should be applicable and a handling charge according to the weight.

That my friends was with DHL courier service shippping. I want yet another shipping with the above rules for Postage Airmail. Is this possible?

Please help me out in order to acheive my requirements. Hope to get some response from os techies.

Thanks

welcom to the osc community.

you can use the product attributes module to do that. or u can use different names for each differen size of tea bag. like:

1. tea [100 grams pack]

2. tea [250 grams pack]

visit : www.oscommerce.com/commuity/contributions/

there r numerous contributions available for shipping. you may not find one which is exactly according to your requirements. but if you know a bit programming, you

can use a mixture of some to achieve your desired solution.

wat do mean friend? would u kindly rephrase this?

Hello,

First of all thank you for welcoming to oscommerce community. I am delighted with your kind words. Well, it seems that I have to look for the contributions. I am not a programmer to tell you frankly, I design and then upload it.:)

Now the rephrasing part:

Actually, I want to kind of shipments to be offered to the clients. The things discussed in details was for "Shipping by courier service". The other shipping method is by usual Indian postal service using the same rules as the one used for the courier shopping.

Thanks for your help.
