select on state dropdown

Is there a possibility to add a simply select to state dropdown?

I believe there is something on Contributions for a drop down menu that shows immediately - rather than having to type in a state before the drop down menu appears (if the state is entered incorrectly).

You are based in Italy, so you have to install the 'zones' (states/provinces) for Italy into your database. This link will take you to the Contribution to install the zones for Italy.

I've installed zones for Italy; but I want the "select" as the first chosen for the zones list dropdown, instead the first name of zone.
