Hello,

I'm pretty new to all this. I downloaded the virtual mall contr. There are 5 updates to it in total. My question is do i have to start from the first version and update each version, or can i just download the latest version and work with that?

Might seem like a silly question, but i just don't know how this works. I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks

As far as I know it really depends on each contribution. Sometimes people just add or fix one file in the contribution and upload that and sometimes they will upload the whole contribution package with all the fixes. Try and reading what each packet says and try and figure it out that way.

Sorry i can't be more help

In addition to what Angi said, you should look at the support thread for the contribution. Sometimes one doesn't exist but usually there is one. That's where you should ask questions about the contribution since that is where others that are using it will be posting. You stand a better chance of getting an answer that way.

I'm not familiar with that contribution, but in general I'd look for the latest full version (or 'new install'). Sometimes people post patches or incomplete packages, but those are usually indicated as such. If you're using MS2, be wary of contributions from earlier than mid-2003--there may be compatibility issues. Read the support thread if there is one.
