storm Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I have just purchased the CRE Loaded 6.1 Manual, as I needed some help/advice on the 'EasyPopulate' contribution, I personally thought it was a bit of a waste, the essential information that would make sense of the database was not there! When I d/l my data and open it into Excel, I have a list of headings, now being unfamiliar with the way it works (hence the purchase of the manual) I was more than dissapointed that there was no explaination as to where these headings refered to in the shop. E.g. v_products_image_sm_1v_products_image_sm_1v_products_image_sm_1 v_products_image v_products_image_med v_products_image_lrg v_products_image_xl_1 v_products_image_sm_2 v_products_image_xl_2 v_products_image_sm_3 v_products_image_xl_3 v_products_image_sm_4 v_products_image_xl_4 v_products_image_sm_5 v_products_image_xl_5 v_products_image_sm_6 etc I think it is a glaring oversight on behalf of the publishers to omit such essentail information to the novice, I don't want to spend endless hours working it out, especially since the manual was purchased to avoid that. Can anyone please describe to me what they refer to any what they relate to in the store ( okay, moan over with). Thanking you in advance.
ozcsys Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Those are a list of the extra images you can add to your product. Not positive which contribution your loaded version uses but you should be able to find that info on the website where you got your version of osC. If you are not planning on using the extra images you can leave those fields blank. The best thing to do when using ep is to add a couple of products to the store manually then download to file and use that as a template for adding additional products. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
