2 problems i cant figure out

ive been struggling with this for a while because my store isn't functional until i figure this out. when i add an item i set the price and everything but in my website it always shows up as 0 and i cant figure out why. Also the width of my website needs to be changed and i cant find where to edit that thanks!

For the price problem you need to make sure you have your default currency setup correctly. That is the most common cause of that problem.

 

There is no one place to edit the width of the site. You may want to look at the center shop contribution as I believe that it makes it easier to set the width

alright could you be more specific? like where do i set my default currency? and i didn't get anything with that width thing you said but THANKS ALOT! ill try with the currency thing right away!

oh also under product listing settings it says display price on listings and the value is 3?? what the hell does that mean if i go to change it it just says would u like to display price? and i can type in a number value but i dont getwhat that means?

alright i just got part of the problem figured out but i still need help... on my main page everything shows 0 dollars and the currency is set to us then when i change it to canadian on the mainpage all the prices show up but they aren't the prices i specified but a bit about that.. so i think when im setting the price its setting in american dollars and i want it to set in canadian dollars.. but i dont know why its still not showing the price when the currency is set to american dollars

I'm sorry, but I found your post quite confusing, and I'm not 100% sure what you are saying is wrong. So ...here's the general background, and maybe it'll help you figure it out.

 

When setting one currency as your Default currency - let's say you want Canadian Dollars as the default - you set the currency up in your control panel, and click on the Update button to update other currencies. You do this because all other currencies now relate to Canadian Dollars as 1.0. But you also need to go to includes/languages/english.php and change 'USD' to the three letter symbol for Canadian Dollars. It should then work fine. If it doesn't then there may be a problem with your Localisation module.

alright i changed that.. but when i load johnnyzmodz.com the default currency is still us and i want it to be canadian.. as well all the prices show 0 dollars... but when i change the currency on the site to canadian it shows the candian prices... then when i click the currency back to american it shows the american price.. its really wierd.. but it shows 0 dollars when you load the page or click on an item until you manually change the currency yourself..
