New B.....Really need help

Hello all,

 

I am very new at this. I am using IX Web hosting and am trying to set up my e-commerce site. OSC came with the package and am now trying to manipulate it.

 

I did some deleting of the original stock that was originally in the site. I then added one item I will be selling to try and get the feel of OSC.

 

I noticed at the top of my site is this error message

 

Warning: Installation directory exists at: /hsphere/local/home/fxcustum/fxcustumz.com/catalog/install. Please remove this directory for security reasons.

 

I tried to remove this through file manager and it comes up with even more errors. It says I need to set the right user permissions. I thought I was the administrator but can not find where to change these settings.

 

I am sure I will have so many questions about this whole thing, as I get further into it but I figured I will get established and ask one question at a time.

 

I really appreciate any help I get.

FTP to your website and delete it from there.
