Annie Dragon Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I'm sure that this has been asked before, but I haven't been very finding it. I'd like to add more fields to the product description area. In my previous cart I had coded everything in HTML (fine for the initial set-up as I was concatenating everything in excel, but it's a royal pain in the hiney to keep up as products are added through the year). This is an example of the fields that I would like to have on my site: Scale: Traditional (1:9) Availability: Limited to 2005 production only Breed: Chincoteague Pony Color: Palomino Pinto Mold: Misty Size in Inches: 6H x 2W x 9L Recommended Age: 8 and Up Description: Fall in love with Misty all over again with this authentic replica of the real Chincoteague Palomino pinto pony, brought to life by Marguerite Henry in her timeless classics Misty of Chincoteague and Stormy. This pretty much would involve adding 7 more fields into the table. Would I have to add more fields to the database via the mysql admin & define the variables? I'm just starting with OSC, so I'd like to make the changes sooner than try to fix them later. Thanks! Annie o:) It's not a learning curve, it's a cliff!
♥bruyndoncx Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 If you add then to the table, you can also extend easy populate for the uploads via excel, if you don't use easypopulate, the easiest would be to use the product extra fields contribution KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
