MAJOR SCREW UP - NEED HELP ASAP

Hey guys - I haven't been here in a very long time.

My ISP recently moved and changed it's name. When they moved they did some really messed up things and have caused us a major headache. I'm looking for some help ASAP.

First they removed ALL my secure connections from my code, so customers were sending credit cards over a standard http connection. Then after they fixed that, they changed something about our 2checkout settings.

SO here's the major problem.

When a customer checks out - 2checkout lists the vendor as "OS COMMERCE" - I have NO IDEA who is receiving our money.

Can anyone help? I am seriously PO'd at this ISP at the moment!

HELP!!!

You should be able to edit your 2ckout setting in your osC admin. Go to modules->payment -> click on 2chout and edit the module to match your info. You also should have a backup of your site locally to restore any other problems. If not this is an excellant example of why you should.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

Thanks -

Yes after posting that message I went in and changed it back. But I'm looking for any explanation on how this could have happened. I'm guessing my ISP is going to claim they didn't do anything, so I want to have some facts to give them when they respond.

I'm the only person who runs my site - I'm the only one who would have changed anything - and I certainly didn't change the 2Checkout vendor ID.

Well there are really only two choices, someone else was able to access your admin or your hosting company screwed you up. Just to be safe I would change my admin password and folder name. Chances are if this happend during a move it was your hosting company but chances are also that they will deny it to the end.

You're absolutely right. They claim they've done nothing.

I have been repeatedly trying to contact 2Checkout.com and I am getting nothing from them. I am VERY unhappy with their support. I hadn't been on their boards in a long time - when I started reading there I was finding people having to wait 14 days to get a response to an emergency tech support ticket. Anything more than 24 hours is inexcusable IMHO.

Anyway, I'm trying to get 2Checkout to tell me WHO received our payments and see what they can do about it.

I am really not very happy right now.
