Sales Tax for GA only

Hey Ya'll -

I've setup my Taxes as follows:

Tax Class:

"Taxable Goods"

Tax Rate:

6% - GA

However, I'm charging 6% sales tax on every order - even those who are not using a GA address. What am I missing?

Thanks,

Fred

1. Admin->Localization/Taxes->TaxZones

Insert New -> ZoneName: Georgia Description: Georgia local sales tax zone

2. Admin->Localization/Taxes->TaxRates

NewTaxrate -> TaxClass :Taxable Goods -> Zone: Georgia -> TaxRate: 6.0000->

-> Description: GA Tax 6.0%

Hope taht helps.

There is a walk through for setting up taxes in the knowledge base. Double check that you have done every step as leaving out just one can leave you with your taxes not work correctly.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
