Welcome message and date of birth format.

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what file I must edit to change the welcome message on the Index.php

 

"Welcome back User! Would you like to see which new products are available to purchase?"

 

Also -- when a new user creates an account - is it possible to change the date of birth entry format?

 

It currently uses the default US format which is month/day/year -- I would like to change it to day/month/year.

 

And one more thing -- asking for the customers address -- i want to change it so this is not conpolsary.

The welcome back (line 300 ish) and date of birth (line 20ish) can be changed in Catalog/includes/languages/YOURLANGUAGE.php

The address, D.O.B, telephone etc etc can be selected in your Admin, what is compulsory and what is not, i think under customer info somewhere.

Great, thanks. I will have a look at this.

 

Would you How I can get rid of showing the shipping address on the "Order Confirmation" as the product is a donloadable file so there is no need for shipping.
