Uploading Directly to DB

Hello to all and thankyou for all the help that you guys and girls have given me in the past.

 

I know that i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed..

 

So all i want to know is, How can i upload directly into the mySQL DB listing products under there cats and sub-products?

 

Is there a way to make these new products automatically clickable (able to add to cart) during this process?

 

and also finally what format does the "Raw Data" Source need to be in?

 

i have over 2000 products that i want to add but don't want to manually do it.

(guess i'm just a lazy ozzy)

Most folks use the Easy Populate contribution that lets you upload in Excel format.
