Best Image Resizing Mod or Technique?

I've looked through the various image resizing mods I'm not sure which one to go with. I'm also open to the prospect of manually resizing images to small, med & large if that means the best quality at all sizes.

 

Oh, while I'm asking...is there a way to have multiple images for a single product? So you'd have the main image that would get displayed as the thumbnail, but on the actual prooduct page, there would be a few others.

It is server based - but does a great job.
