Attributes Copier - Doesnt Update...just adds?!?!

Hi,

 

I have installed the latest version of the Attributes Copier contrib...it works great...but the key word is 'copier'.

 

Lets say that I have a product (Product A) with 6 attributes.

 

I copy all the attributes from Product A to Product B, C, D because they are similar products and they have exactly the same attributes.

 

This works great...

 

Now, lets say that I decide to remove 1 of the attributes from Product A. I also want to remove this attribute from Product B, C, D.

 

I thought it would be as simple as using the copier again and copy all attributes from Product A to Product B, C, D.

 

This doesnt work.

 

It seems that the attribute copier only adds...and does not delete or replace.

 

How can I get this functionality to work with Attribute Copier? Should I be using a different contrib?

Howdy sgtpepper (like the name, brings back memories)

 

anyway, I don't know if this is the same contrib or not but I use attribute sorter/copier v5. I can sort my attributes in any order I want, copy them (either from one product to one product, one product to category, etc...) what is good is that if ,as in your case, you changes your product and want to recopie attributes you can set the copier to delete all previous attribues and copie over the new one. If this is that same then in the copie area look for a series of check boxes with the options (overwrite, delete, skip) I believe.
