Need help

So here's what I've got I am the internet director for a small used car lot in Alaska.

We are trying to use oscommerce to display our vehicles and allow our customers to peruse our inventory.

I've got the gist of the program down, but I need to change the home page from the standard default that it came with. I know I need to go to the file manager to do this but I can not figure out how to get the system to allow me to alter any files in the file manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Filemanager will introduce errors into your files and should not be used. You need to get an FTP program that will allow you to copy the shops files to your computer. Then use an editor on your computer to edit them.
