one article in different groups

i?m looking for the possibility to put one article in different groups - so that when i?m searching for this product that i get only one result

Hi Jorg,

 

To have a product show up in a different categorie other than where it was first put you can do the following:

 

In admin, select Catalog, then select the product you would like to add to another categorie.

 

You will have four options to choose from:

Edit - Delete - Move - Copy To

 

Select Copy To ...

This will give you two copy options, the default being Link product.

Leave it on this option and just use the drop down to place the product in another categorie.

 

Thats it ...... the product will know show up in both categories, and if you search for this product via name or product code, it will only show up in the categorie it was first placed in.
