Guest Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 I visit this board almost nightly, because I always learn something new and usually tweak my website in some way because of it. I've read a lot in recent nights about 'spider sessions'. Like....it's a bad thing to have spider sessions enabled, except.....I don't understand why. Be a sweetheart and explain what the benefits are of disabling spider sessions. Is this a bandwidth issue? I just don't get it.

Jack_mcs Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Andrea - eventually, hopefully, you will have a 1,000 or more pages indexed by the search engines. This will greatly increase your chances of being found by potential customers. Now, if those links have a SID attached, it will be an invalid link because the SID is no longer valid. When that happens to me, I usually go elsewhere. See the problem?
