Guest Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 People are receiving this error message when entering my store. Anyone know a fix? What a pain before christmas. Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /mnt/web_i/d33/s13/b01d7fe8/www/whitetailstore/nfoscomm/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! Any info would help. Thanks, Darin
Guest Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 In includes/configure.php set persistent connections to false
Gil-Gallad Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 In includes/configure.php set persistent connections to false <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I suppose, that this decision will not help your problem. The Problem lies at Your Hosting. You must find out - how many simultaneous connections provide your hosting contract. For Example: if your hosting provide 5 connections to MySQL then if there more than 5 visitors online at your site - someone will receive that kind of error message. One way to decide this problem - to increase the number of connections to MySQL at one time. Greeting from the elves! My Contributions
Guest Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 as in all hosting, you get what you pay for . . . .
