Gift Voucher wrong Percentage

Hi all !

 

since I installed the contribution last year (version 5.05 or 5.06 ) always use gift coupon with Money not with Percentage. And it works.

 

Just now I create a 10 % Xmas Rebate Coupon and when I did a test order

the amount of the calculate Rabatt was not 10% , but less or even more.

 

The discount amount will be not correctly calculate.

 

Anybody knows why with percentage the contribution does not work properly ?

thank you for your replay.

 

well, i did 10% without space.

 

But since i'was trying to understand how the contribution compute the rebate amount

it seem it consider

 

1) the Goods amount including VAT

plus

2) the shippingcost without VAT

 

Even if the contribution sets in admin are:

 

include shipping FALSE

include tax TRUE

recalculate tax NONE

 

Should i change some settings ?

Well, if I set in the admin :

 

include shipping TRUE

 

now the contribution compute the amount of 10% correctly

 

1) Goods amount incl. VAT

plus

2) Shipping amount incl. VAT

 

Even i did not want to have the shipping cost included in the Rebate

I think it's a better choice to let it works with way, inspite to have a

incorrect rebat amount.

 

Why it calculate the Shipping cost without VAT instead not to calculate it at all

i still do not understand.

 

Any ideas ?
