Quantity Question

Hello,

I had a couple questions regarding quantity. If several people are looking at an object in my store and they all try to add it to their carts (past the quantity) will Oscommerce let them or will it stop them from adding it? And if it let's them add it will it let them order something when the quantity is 0?

 

Also, When OsCommer displays the "new products" and "best sellers" and etc does it still put them out if the quantity is 0?

That's all configurable in the admin section.

 

have it anyway you want.

Check stock levels, etc....

Configuration Box : Stock

 

Here are some of my settings... Works for me.

 

 

Check stock level        false 

Subtract stock            false 

Allow Checkout          true 

Mark product out of stock  *** 

Stock Re-order level  0

One thing to keep in mind is that osC does not subtract an item from stock until checkout. So if you only have 2 of an item and three people put it their cart the last person is going to be disapointed when they go do checkout.
