Top_Speed Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Hi, I posted this before with no answers :( Hope we have some help here.... ON uploading items using v_products_tax_class_id I put in a 1 to change the items to "Taxable Goods" but it doesn't change them when I look at them in admin??? I also went into the db, changed the products_tax_class_id default from 0 to 1. Shouldn't I be able to manually add a new item and have the Tax Class box come up to the 1 or "Taxable Goods"??? Really baffled. Thank you! Quote define('PROJECTS', 'Something that goes on forever!');
Guest Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 (edited) do the items show up as taxable goods when you key one in manually, not via easypopulate? by the way, if your questions are about easypopulate, here is the support thread: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64945 eacy contribution has its own support thread, which is where questions and answers are to be placed and not starting a new support thread. Manually- No they do not, they still by default are at --none-- But I'm not sure if changing the database field: v_products_tax_calss_id to a 1 from a 0 will work anyway? When I do a test download to temp, the field is 1 but when I make a new upload via EP it doesn't change a (new item) from default [--none--] to [Taxable Goods]. hmm... Could there be a bug in EP? Can anybody upload a new product and have the item as Taxable Goods?? Mibble- I know about that thread, plem it's bloody "Over Populated". I'm not being a jerk, let me explain (I run a Forum of my own). One thread is not enough for EP because 4 Qustions get asked, the bottom (if idle long enough) may get answered before a trumble of more Q's get pounced on top. Sorry, that 1 thread is not enough for EP, maybe it needs its own forum? Just my 2 cents.. Thanks again, Ken Quote define('PROJECTS', 'Something that goes on forever!');
