Sorting Products by Category on cart home page?

I have categories as follows:

 

CDs

- Raggae

- Hip Hop

- Soca

Videos

- VHS

- BETA

DVDs

- Single

- Double

 

When I add products to my cart it displays all the items in one table sorted by product's added date.

 

Can somebody help me sort the products by the categories? I'd like to display only 4 products from Raggae. Four products from Hip Hop and four products from Soca categories. I can do the HTML, I need the php/mysql code.

Hello. Just so I know what you mean.. When someone clicks on "CDs" you would like to show four products from each category and then a "more" link or something to show all products from that category?
