OK, but promise me you do not use the OSC editor, use another editor to make the changes.

My two cents as you guys edit back and forth.....

Start with a fresh copy of the files and DO NOT use the osc File Manager Editor. It has a bug that removes \'s and will cause parse errors.

The problems arise with WordPad if you start copying and pasting into WordPad. Some features, such as semi colons, apostrophies, or hyphens, when copied and pasted into WordPad will be rendered by WordPad (in the background and unseen) with text formatting, and will then mess up your site if uploaded.
